Where dies the text from line one of search engine results come from? I can't see that text anywhere on the web site or in the code.

The TITLE tag as a rule unless it is a PPC listing.

Thanks for the insight - I did see the title tag but still not a complete match. I couldn't find a matching ppc either.


If those are the only two ways, I must have missed something.

That, my friend, is search engine spam.


To see how, click on the CACHE link from that page and when you see white, hit STOP on your browser. Then view source.


They used search engine spam to rank #1 then just recently they put an actual page there instead of redirecting.


Therefore, in the next update, they will be dropped most likely. I know many have reported this link as spam to google.

Look at the cached version of the page.


When Google cached the pageit was usingare-direct script to forward it to e-scripts-md.


When you get to the cached page, click on the browsers STOP button before it re-directs. You can then look at the source and see the title tage where it will match what shows up on the search.


This guys site will be most likely getbanned by google but he sure got a good ranking in the mean time!


He used Blogs to spam his url with the keyword Phentermine. If you look at his backward links you will see that if you go to these pages, most of his links are gone. So, Google will either ban his site or it will drop way down in the next update.
