Sub Affiliate Program Description

Health Solutions Network LLC now offers you the option to sign up a sub-affiliate(s). By recommending our program to a friend or colleague and having them sign up as your sub-affiliate, you will get a quarterly commission payment based on their sales.

How to Enroll in the Program

1. You must get approval from your affiliate account manager in order to sign up a sub-affiliate.
2. Once you have talked to your account manager and have been approved for a sub-affiliate, you will be sent a link to our sign up page. The link will be personalized to include your affiliate ID# so your sub-affiliate must sign up through that link. If the sub-affiliate signs up without this link, they will not be associated with your account and you will receive no sub-affiliate commission.
3. Once your sub-affiliate has been approved, both you and your new sub-affiliate must send us a confirmation email from the email address we have on file. We must receive this email confirmation from both the parent and sub-affiliate before any sub-affiliate payment will be released. Please copy and paste the following statement into an email and enter your own name and affiliate ID# in the appropriate locations.
I have read, understand and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the sub-affiliate program with Health Solutions Network LLC. I understand that if I break any of the rules, I forfeit any and all payments and privileges associated with the program.
Your full name here, Your Affiliate ID # here

4. If you had any sub-affiliate(s) in the past, please note that you will have to enroll in the program by sending the above statement to your affiliate account manager. You will also need to contact your sub-affiliate and ask them to do the same. We must receive this email confirmation from both the parent and sub-affiliate before any sub-affiliate payment will be released.

Terms and Conditions

1. Parent affiliate payments are made once per quarter. The payout date is approximately 30 days after the last day of the quarter.
2. The parent affiliate will be paid 2.5% commission of the sub-affiliate(s)’ base cost for every order. For example, if your sub-affiliate makes a sale for a medication that has a base cost of $50.00, then you will make a commission of $1.25 off this sale, ($50 x .025 = $1.25). Please note that how your sub-affiliate(s) sets their retail pricing has no effect on your commission since you commission is calculated on base cost, not retail price.
3. In order to receive your sub-affiliate(s) commission, you must have made at least $130.00 in commission from your own sales for each month within the same quarter as your sub-affiliate(s)’ payment. For quarter dates, please see below.
4. Sub-affiliate commission payments are subject to charge-backs and refunds. Any charge-backs or refunds that your sub-affiliate(s) receives within the same quarter will be deducted from your sub-affiliate commission payment. If your sub-affiliate(s) receives a charge-back or return from an order placed in the previous quarter, the cost will be deducted from your next commission payment.
5. Parent and sub-affiliates must maintain a current address, phone, email address and banking information plus a have a current W-9 on file at Health Solutions Network, LLC to receive payments.
6. You may not sign yourself up as your own sub-affiliate.
7. If any of the rules within this agreement are broken, you will no longer be eligible to have sub affiliates or receive any pending sub-affiliate commission payment.

Quarter 1 (January 1 – March 31) pays out last business day of April

Whole thing sounds like a crock of crap to me...
Really makes me want to run out and promote HSN harder...
Just sounds to me like you want to steal everyone's second tier that don't want to jump thru all these hoops for you... I think my second tier signups will continue to go elsewhere.

What is the reason for this procedure?

Sounds as a useless step..

Can you answer this one please?

An example: let's say I have 5 affiliates that are sending traffic and making sales daily, 2 of them don't respond to your odd new verification procedure although they have signed up as my subs years ago after a positive feedback post that contained your link.
So that means you will delete these 2 from my downline but will still allow them to send traffic to you although the only reason why they signed up with you was my positive feedback containing your link?
Sorry if I am wrong but so far it sounds like stealing. Have never seen any other program doing something as odd as this..

Please read this:
1. I post weekly to this forum and since I began have had trouble with the site (it logs me out repeatedly and does not send me replies to any thread I post). That said, this is not the best place to get immediate answers to your questions. I generally include my email address in each post and invite you to ask directly for help.

2. I also encourage you to read the information thoroughly and to use caution in a public forum such as this before you post suggestions that compare our efforts to "stealing" or "crap". I'd like to think we are all professionals.

3. The terms of the new agreement state clearly that Health Solutions Network's new sub-affiliate program replaces any existing program. In fact, we did not have a well-defined sub-affiliate program prior to this and few affiliates ever knew about our old structure.

4. There is a very important reason why your sub-affiiates would need to confirm their involvement in this program. If they didn't, any affiliate could simply sign up and claim any number of sub-affiliates as their own. The request is simple... any affiliate that you want to have as your sub-affilliate must email us from their own email account in our records. Simple.Think of it this way, would you want some other affiliate signing YOU up as their sub and making money off your sales? Perhaps that makes the policy more understandable.

I always appreciate people's feedback, particularly constructive cristicism, not just criticism. We are hard at work making our program the best it can be and taking it up several notches which is designed to make a positive difference for YOU, our affiliate. Many of these innovations won't be revealed until July as we continue to test them.

Let's work together, work smarter and operate from the shared purpose of making a difference. I welcome your personal input at joyanne@healthsol.net

That is still ridiculous...
Think this way... I put a signup link on my site with my aff ID in it... Someone sees it, clicks it, and wants to be an affiliate... they sign up!... They are automatically my subaffiliate, period, done deal... I don't have to know them, they don't have to know me, I don't have to send an email and they don't have to send an email...

That's the way it has worked around here for as long as I can remember, for every program I know, and I think it is working fine... do you think we only signup sub affiliates who are our friends? Because that would be the only person that would ever send you back an email... If someone signs up but has no idea who I am, why would they send you back an email saying that they want to be in my second tier?

And I still don't get how someone can claim me as their sub if I never signed up by clicking on one of their affiliate links...

wow.. how is that possible?:)) if what you just wrote is really possible then the only thing how to explain is that you have really lame affiliate software. Nothing of this is possible with ANY of the affiliate softwares I ever worked with..
Simple affiliate signup through affiliate link is not good enough? Fine..
Have you ever heard of "invite only" affiliate programs? That is the only reasonable alternative which several big affiliate networks already use with good success.
But still wondering.. how can anyone make me as their sub affiliate without me signing up as one 1) through their link 2)or their invitation code?? It's not possible even with the smallest and simplest affiliate networks I worked with. Your software must really suck:)

Thanks to the members who provided suggestions on how they'd like our system to work. Please understand that Health Solutions Network is essentially at the starting point of having a working/workable sub-affiliate program. What your comments say is that we need to automate the process further so it's simple as can be to invite others into the process. Understood.

I will forward your input to our dev team who is currently working on a huge revamp to improve our systems. We do listen an implement your requests on-goingly. For example, we just activated a way for you to look up the re-order dates on specific customers. Many of you said this was a necessary tool and we delivered. That would not have happened without someone taking the time to clearly define WHAT needs to be accomplisehd and HOW they'd like it to work.

Thanks,

May I suggest you send the new sub-affiliate system back to the drawing board?

As it stands right now, I won't be using it. Too complicated.

I much prefer systems that allow blind referrals without all these confirmation emails, secret handshakes, and the like.
