Hello again,
Wow! I've been slacking with my posts here!! smileys/smiley6.gifI thought I'd just quickly post that last month we had a few SEO affiliates for 1800patches.com make more than $10,000. Not bad for non-RX...our RX affiliates are doing much more than that, but it's a very stable OTC site that has weight loss patches, cosmetic creams, self tanners, etc. I'll start anyone out here at a higher commission payout than the newbies in our affiliate program. Feel free to give me a call anytime to discuss 1800patches or 1800pharmacy...(801) 560-6813.

Well I also tried your program and it worked fine for a while but the statistics show otherwise. The current clickthrough to sales is significantly different than the original ratio?

You know, I did a reverse IP and it showed one domain earlier when I noticed this problem.
Something is def going on there. Even the google cache wont load images or anything.
Did someone's server get hacked?

Hey Patchesking, you were planning to launch a private label affiliate program by the end of July, 2003 on 1800pharmacy.com. Check this old thread of yours
http://www.rxaffiliateforum.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=23&K (http://www.rxaffiliateforum.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=23&KW=patchesking) W=patchesking
What happened to those plans? Where is that affiliate program?

From what I understand, they are working on their backend right now to allow affiliates to set their own prices. That might be why there are so many errors showing up?smileys/smiley3.gif

Thanks for all the posts. The backbone of our servers went down last night. It wasn't our server, but beyond our server in the backbone. I hear that half of Miami's web access went down last night. We're propagating as I write this and should be back in within 12 hours. We're diversifying right now with servers, and implementing the dynamic back office for all of you. We assign each affiliate their own domain and give you each your own site to market. I'm pulling my hair out as I write this, but such is life on the web.smileys/smiley19.gif
I'll let you know when we're live again. We did launch our affiliate program at the end of July, but we haven't been able to implement dynamic back office, which you all require, until now. I'll also keep you informed as to when that'll be done.

"We assign each affiliate their own domain and give you each your own site to market."
Who owns that site and domain? Affiliate or you?
Is there any difference in commissions that you pay on linkshare and what you pay to the affiliates that use one of the site provided by you?

Good question phalaris. Also wondering how hard / easy it will be to switch from linkshare to this "dynamic back office." When you have 100s of sites, I'm hoping it will be a find / replace with a new URL. Easy to do in DW.
Man, this is the worst timing ever. I hate how long it takes for DNS to propogate.
Thanks.

If its not super commissions and structured like Link Share I wont participate....these are good questions phalaris...please post as soon as the backend is up Shawnsmileys/smiley2.gif

Yes, DNS propagation is the worst. You'd think there'd be a better solution.
Phalaris, we own the site and the domain for 1800pharmacy, but only one marketing partner is assigned to each domain, so all reorders to that site for the life of all customers go toward your commissions. The dynamic back office will be available for 1800pharmacy, but not for 1800patches for now. So for 1800pharmacy, each affiliate gets their own domain with a dynamic back office.
For 1800patches, we will have better commissions with a different tracking system from Linkshare for all of you within 1-2 weeks. Because of our exclusivity agreement with linkshare we have to make a newgeneric sitein order to utilizea different tracking system. For now, everything is through Linkshare for 1800patches, but we're about half way done with the new site. To switch things from Linkshare to the new tracking, I will personally send whatever links and banners you need to get them switched over, Scott. Keep the questions coming. I hope this answers your questions thus far...

phalaris you are right,I wanted to promote for these guys , but I am not going to until they have they own affiliate tracking and not linkshare

Jaanis, thanks! I'll let you know when our own tracking is up. We're very sick of Linkshare also, and with our 2 year contract, we've had to find loophools in order to implement our own tracking. We are making progress. Like I said it should be 2 weeks from now, at the latest, when we have our own tracking. I'm also trying to talk everyone here into doing a dynamic back office for patches also.

Shawn,
Do you suggest simply waiting until this backend is ready then?
I mean, the way I'm going, I'm changing these damn pharmacy sites daily. Redex and others can attest to that.
As of the time of this post, the DNS update hasn't hit me yet. Still getting a no-DNS.

It may take another hour or so to hit Cali, but we're live here in SLC, UT and East...
As far as waiting, it's up to you. I can cater to your needs...let me know what you prefer.
Thanks All!!

Our new tracking, which is separate from Linkshare, is now up. I'll start you all at 30% on all products instead of the standard 20% on Linkshare. Email me with your site name so I can update your commissions. In order to sign up, just go tohttp://1800patches.com/aff_manager/. Let me know if you have any questions or requests.
Thanks!smileys/smiley4.gif

Hi Health SS,
We are propagating and will be live later tonight. Our servers claimed that we violated the Can-Spam, but the only emailers that we work with are on Linkshare, and have to abide by their Can-Spam addendum to the affiliate agreement. Trying to hold affiliates to laws within a large network like linkshare might be a huge headache!http://www.rxaffiliateforum.com/smileys/smiley5.gifOur server hosts didn't supply us with any documentation of these complaints, and we think that they were actually shut down themselves and passing the blame to us. Anyway, as of tonight 1800patches.com will be diversified so that this will not happen again.

So what happens when someone calls the 800#? How is the affiliate credited for the sale? Or is the affiliate limited to just the online sales?

I'm pretty disappointed over the lack of communications I've had. I haven't marketed them at all because of it. I must've bounced the same email 4 or 5 times to Shawn and I never receive a response. smileys/smiley3.gif

All I'll say is that he promised a "higher commission" to us (see first post on this thread) so I emailed him. He responded within 24 hours and said to sign up and I'll make sure you get the xx% rate (higher rate).
I responded that I already signed up and here's my account number and please verify my account already has the said xx% amt before I begin promoting. This email, as simple as it is, will not get a response with 4 bounces that I've sent. Its been at least a month.
Spam filter? Who knows. I'm just stating my experience.

Scott,
Yes, I received your email, bumped up your commission to the promised 30%, and replied to your email with the information. I haven't heard back from you since then, so I apologize if the email was not received. Send me an email to sross@1800patches.com with your needs to start cranking and I'll send over whatever you need: keywords, best performing products, creative, you name it.
Thanks!

Scott,
smileys/smiley2.gifNot a problem, bro!
Every time that someone posts something here for patches, I get an autoresponder sent to my inbox. If anyone wants good OTC products, the 30% promised commissions, high converting landing pages, etc., post here or send me a private message. We truly hadmany SEO, banner, and email affiliates, etc. that make more with patches than with our pharmacy. We still have our pharmacy live, but we're focusing on patches for now with everything that's going on. We just launched free trials that are converting like crazy. I'll send the excel over to you Scott with the links.
Thanks!

PatchKing... What type of sites convert best for your patches? What patches are the best sellers, etc.. Do you have templates?
I would still prefer to maintain control of the url at my own expense.
Thanks

The sites that convert best currently are just sites that are optimized well in all search engines. The best approach is to optimize many pages for all of the different keywords for each product. We have a lot of creative that you're welcome to use, and also many keywords per product that have proven to be successful.
The best-selling current products are: STrivectin-SD, Le Patch, TanTowel, Arctic White, and Green Tea-weight loss system. We're still working to tweek our template, but I could send you what we have. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!
