I am interested in what are the opinions of affiliates and programs about Pharmacy Checker Approved status.

SelfserveRx is PC approved, does that mean anything?

My interest stems from formulating a self regulation code that the OP industry can abide by and still remain viable. At the end of the day whatever happens the consumers' best interests must be placed first.

Does anyone believe that the current Health Care system does a good job, placing consumers first?

Any other selfserverx affiliate noticed the big drop in Google conversion rates recently.
Other advertisers are still pulling really well, but google's new formula seems to have wrecked there sponsored search values.

I'm not with selfserve, but I've noticed my clickthrough rate cut in half with Google in the last 2-3 weeks; is that what you're asking about?

Yes, both number of impressions and the conversion rate have fallen by 25% - 50% in the past 2 weeks. Google have introduced a beta search for sponsored ads. The position improved slightly this week over last, but their performance is well down.

No Life - Are you using the pay for performance model or the standard PPC?

The seal is huge. I think you need an actual pharmacy in the USA, with a licence, doc, etc.

I could be wrong though, anyone else know anything about the seal?

OPMeds qualifies for the seal, as we require scripts and are fully licenced, but have still not been issued with one after3 or more months of emails back and forth. The program does not seem well managed at all.

The question is there any value for pharmacy checker to affiliates. It is good for a orginal OP as it will allow them to advertise in search engines, but what good to the affiliate. I don't think most customers will ever know.

So question is who does it serve other than the orginal OP

You are right it encourages a big loyalty factor with original OP's. Which is sometimes a good outcome. Kind of a trademark or patent, so it is worth more investing in development. However, does the consumer want to pay for a security net watch dog?

Depends on if Pharmacy Checker actually does more than check for compliance. If like the Pharmacy Shark Patrol (PSP) that follows up and resolves disputes - great.

However, Pharmacy Shark Patrol obtains its support from site sponsorships and a voluntary group who join through the PSP downline. (I might add this is now a very big group and thanks for all you supporters out there). This way Pharmacy shark Patrol can work on behalf of customers and affiliates, without adding a massive cost or a massive market entry barrier to new ideas and business.

Sorry to push the PSP bandwagon - but facts are facts.

Which indeed is a good way forward? Well ask the hundreds of affiliates where we have rescued their funds without taking a penny off any of them, other than an agreed T2, which we would have got anyway.

PSP wants to grow a strong stable well self regulated industry in a free market zone - I hope that is in the interest of consumers, affiliates OP's and governments. By contributing to great information and debate on this forum you are assisting that aim. Thank you!!!
