So I noticed a few sites advertising on Adwords for controlleds and using the OPA network to fulfull. I questioned this with my Account Manager at Google and this was her reply.

"I've worked with our policy Specialist to learn more about the ads you mentioned in your original email. Please note that these ads are acceptable per our Editorial Guidelines. We no longer require that a pharmaceutical seal be available on the site, but the site in question must be a member of our pharmaceutical checker program. Therefore, each of these sites are complying with our Guidelines."

So how does one become a "member"? Wine and dine them?

Apparently, PharmacyChecker's seal is easily stolen.

must be a false PharmacyChecker seal. You may report to PharmacyChecker.

Although whether Google or Yahoo, they understand profit scenario of OP PPC, thats why they introduced PharmacyChecker with higher verification cost.

In my opinion PharmacyChecker is useless they still advertise Costco as a online pharmacy :)

The grey area continues - just drifts over to new locations. The key ingrediant is where to find honest programs - believe it or not they are still around.

Google has long had a reputation of letting questionable sites advertise while blocking out others.

PharmacyChecker! Hell, what we need is OnlinePharmacyProgramChecker to weed out the fly-by-night scum bags.

Yes Dave - that is why I started the Pharmacy Shark Patrol over 3 years ago and still maintain it today. Also, it is readily accessible - so some people join through it while others just use it.

To me the main thing is we out the bad and promote the good - which hopefully helps our industry.
