Is anyone here interested in investing money into an independent record label?

talked to Dewie about Rodell and that is not what I was talking about. I guess he is/was a scam artist running some sort of scheme,
I am talking about co-owning a record label with myself promoting music I have made (at first). All of the music will be club DJ oriented so we are talking about having records pressed and promoted which costs money that I do not have. Once I have exact details together I will bring this thread back up. if

What do you spin? House, breakbeat, trance, etc?? How good are you (fading in/out tracks average DJ or samplin', scratchin', 808 bad ass)? Got anything burned I could hear?
I used to spin at a small club in New Orleans (early in the AM from 6-8AM when it was bumpinsmileys/smiley14.gif). Been 5 years. Tried convincing wife to let me buy some turntables for the new house and play around a little but she just thinks I'm weird.

Jason: I am talking about tracks I made to be actually pressed to vinyl for djs. I used to mix but nothing serious. I had to sell my tables and mixer (1200s and pioneer djm-500) when I lost my job a 2 years ago. I did not sell any of my records though which are mostly house and I have not got around to getting some new tables but I think I will be soon. I have been messing around remixing and producing stuff the last 2-3 yearsbut I haven't really been doing too much in the last year because I have been busy.I would like to release mainly house on the label but I got some other stuff that is hard toassign a genre to. I'll post more info later once I get everything together.
Matt:not ready to post samples publicly but I am in the process of making a "megamix" (if you want to call it that) for potential investors,of a few of the songs I would like to be pressed first.
I wish I had the same amount of money as the bandChicago.</DIV>
