View Full Version : Katrina Effects OP Fullfillment

You may not know it, but hurricane Katrina has had an effect on the OP industry as well. Pharmacies located in the disaster area will not be able to fullfill orders for many of the programs that we use for obvious reasons. Program directors are busy trying to locate other pharmacies who are willing to step in and fill the void that has been created in the states of LA, AL, and MS.

In addition, it would not be unreasonable to believe that there may become a shortage on medications such as anti-biotics if the conditions in those effected areas gets any worse.

We may also see increases in shipping costs (once again) as fuel shortages become a possibility with the loss of fuel production in those areas as well.

Anyone has a list of which online pharmacies are affected by this ?

would be good to put on our sites if there are delays to avoid upset customers :(

What about OP's giving a hand to the victims... Some sort of a fund or aid relief.
I think it can be done ...
