Anyone out there use E-Pilots PPC advertising programs? One of their reps called me today and said their online pharmacy folks have seen great results with them and they cost 1/9th what Google does. Just curious if he is just blowing smoke up my ass or if any of ya'll have had any good results with them?

Here is a testimony to the usefullness of this forum:

I received a similar call a while ago; sounded good. HOWEVER, at the back of my mind was some doubt. SO, I came to my trusty forum, did a search on "e-pilot" -

Well, suffice it to say, I have not taken them up on their offer. Jeremy, it's all there if you do a forum search. You won't even have to look very hard.

Thank you. Yes I did search that and found 1 post with about 4 or 5 replies, all negative. Those posts were from about 6-7 months ago though and just seeing if they may have come around and brought anyone any decent business since then. I know the chances are slim but thought I would check. smileys/smiley16.gif

For what it's worth, I use to advertise heavily on ePilot for casino sites up to a year ago.

If it were not for me getting lucky and landing a couple of whales (big money players), I would have wasted my money.

Unless things at ePilot have changed dramatically, I would say it's a waste of money.

They called me 2 days ago with the same story. You get traffic from their search partners...only home pagevisits with 0 sales. Even if those visitors were realthere is still too much international traffic.

All their search partners have affiliate programs. that is the key to the rip-off. "Get paid to surf" bots clicking your ads.

Just for the halibut, I checked their search partners so as not to provide any false information, they still have affiliate programs. LOL

With all their search partners and according to my account manager 2 billion searches each quarter they still need google to find our sites and phone numbers from whois.

So first they spend your money fromlinks on google then youdeposit money and get garbige traffic.

Why do I feel like an idiot right now smileys/smiley8.gif

I ran with them for a while and the conversion rates were horrible! I was tracking my clicks and they came from what I like to call click farms. There are so many new people to sale to on the internet you can start a business that does not care about repeat business. In other words, there is always a fresh supply of newbies smileys/smiley4.gif

I got a lot of clicks and no sales.
