Mine goes up and down depending on how fast the order form loads smileys/smiley3.gif

28% is pretty good. My best is between 35-38% worst at 12-15%

I would think that this would vary by keyword that is driving traffic in a PPC model.

For example, a misspelling might have a lower conversion rate than a "buy phentermine" click. I'm new here, but my focusis on ROI. If I can get 30 people in at $0.10 per click and I make one sale, I am better off than a guy paying $3.00 with a 50% conversion rate.

You may need to think a little harder buddy smileys/smiley2.gif.

It's all about bottom line. I get great ROI with Viagra because it is SOOOO crowded that I bid $0.10 to $0.20 a click for the viagra or buy viagra and I still get sales (penis pills sell baby). Great ROI, but when all said and done, I only have $400-$500 in my pocket at the end of the month.

But when you aren't afraid to spend the money on a marketable drug with a good profit margin for more clicks, you'll make much more. As long as your site converts, you'd be stupid NOT to take $5,000 take homeone hand, or gee, $400-500 in the other because youwanted to be conservative in spending.

Besides, the more you spend in advertising, the more google likes you and the better rewards your credit card providergives you smileys/smiley4.gif.

But I guess it's all about perspective; or in my case, MONEY.

PPC is stupid.Especially adwords. They want 20-30$ per click for a word like viagra and it goes up and up every day.If you pay something like20$ per click and you have 3 visits and 1 order 20 tablets viagra you earn cents and it doesn't make any sence at all to continue. The other thing I'm worried about is do I lose orders if I don't have order folder on my page ?

I do alright... thanks anyway.

The original question was about conversions and my comment was to maximize ROI. You even prove my point later in your reply. If you hada series of investment opportunities (keywords), then you invest in the order of greatest ROI - you would be stupid not to invest in that order. You keep investing until you run out of available cash or investments with acceptable ROI. Again, you even prove me right with your reference to profit margin below.

But when you aren't afraid to spend the money on a marketable drug with a good profit margin for more clicks, you'll make much more. Now you can think about that one for awhilesmileys/smiley2.gif
