Well almost:

Dear Overture Advertiser,

In order to promote a trusted marketplace for our advertisers, distribution partners and users, Overture requires all advertisers who sell prescription drugs, or facilitate the sale of prescription drugs via links to other sites, to be qualified through our online pharmacy qualification program. After completing the qualification process, online pharmacy advertisers will be allowed to advertise their listings through Overture.

Overture introduced this program to help ensure that all of our online pharmacy advertisers are licensed and have agreed to comply with all applicable state and federal regulations governing the sale of prescription drugs. This program will ultimately benefit advertisers by promoting a trusted marketplace, as well as benefit consumers by conveying that Overture's online pharmacy advertisers have demonstrated trustworthiness.

To submit your application for Overture's online pharmacy qualification program, please visit the link below:

www.squaretrade.com/pharmacy

A non-refundable $200 fee is required when submitting your application. Once you qualify, your first three months in the program are free. After three months, a $50 monthly membership fee will be charged as long as you remain a member. Please note that you may cancel your program membership at any time if your site no longer sells prescription drugs or links to sites that do so.

Thank you for your participation. We look forward to helping you build your business.

Sincerely,

Your Partners at Overture

I don't know about the rest of you, but my business hasn't suffered one bit by not running PPC ads on Overture for the past several months. So, unless someone has a compelling argument as to why I would throw $700 of my money at Overture plus the PPC fees ... they can kiss my ass!

I didn't know there was another topic smileys/smiley5.gif

Was it months ago that Overture pulled all those ads? I know it's been some time. I didn't pay attention because no one ever clicked on the 78th page of the popular terms so I didn't notice a decline in sales when Overture removed most of my keywords. smileys/smiley8.gif But ... Overture left me 57 of the no click crap terms and i'm in 1st place smileys/smiley4.gif I would hate to lose my terms now smileys/smiley6.gif They don't cost me any money, but it's nice to be in 1st place! smileys/smiley14.gif
