not yet, but then probably later they will be ...
rule of thumb: if an ad group is running: DO NOT TOUCH IT
otherwise they rewise and they will find stuff, that was not a problem before ..
I got several keywords disabled with medicine/pills, and even credit cards like "american express"
I think google should offer partial word search terms such as Levitra=evitra=levitr ... but that does not work... i tried :)

forgot to say:
I can understand Bayer (or whoever) going after "generic Levitra" or "Generic XXX", but I do not understand that kind of copyright bullsh*t:
If I sell Levitra (brand from Bayer) in an online pharmacy, at the end it is coming from Bayer doesn't it ? so they make $$, their product gets popular and so on ...
ps: when Generic Levitra was something new I had google #1 for Generic Levitra for some time, and it kinda gave me chills that I saw hits coming from bayer.de :) all to the generic Levitra pages

I got it also, but I still see others using it. Their policy makes it look like the owner has to complain first. Not sure why they wouldn't want us to promote it.

Google Ad Word team ALWAYS has worked with me, just get someone from the company that is in charge of the trademark and 99.9% of the time they will help you out along with Google I have done that several times instantly and run ads with the trademark along with the fact that I am an affilate...should have no problems, I suggest calling Google and the company spokesperson to get the okaysmileys/smiley2.gif

You got probs, I have one BIG company taking me to court over Their Trade Name...
So them guys want me to promote their product, but can't use the NAME...lol
Sour grapes, I was page one they were page 3
Anyhow I gave up, passed the domain names over to them ( I don't need sh*t like that) Especially cos their product sales were poor.
So now I promote their rivals product much more vigorously, small time commision, but the company now hasn't got the product page 1 google..lol

I use adwords almost exclusively, but get really frustrated w/them. I had no problem w/them at first. Then I started getting the nitpicky "disapprovals"; "calorad" was denied due to the trademark thing. Don't get it; why would a company have problems using their tm to promote their product?? Before Cialis and Levitra were approved, all my keywords for them were denied; then they denied any kw if the landing site contained levitra/cialis.
Another frustration is that, as you noted, others are using these tm terms.
I got them once, however. The denied the kw "best benefits" because of the "superlative". I responded that best was part of the program name and not an adjective. It was restored.
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr gh!!!
(ok, I'm good)

I've found that they are pretty nice to deal with if you call them.

nobody is left on adwords. what dumbasses. here is google reply:
Thank you for your email regarding your use of the trademark 'Levitra.' I apologize for the frustration.
In response to a request made by the trademark owner of 'Levitra,' we have removed 'Levitra' from your keyword list. The trademark owner of 'Levitra' notified us that your AdWords ads were running on the trademarked term without the trademark owner's permission or other legal authority for doing so. Please note that this also applies to misspellings and variations. You can learn more about Google's trademark policy at: http://www.google.com/tm_complaint.html (http://www.google.com/tm_complaint.html).
If you believe you should be able to use 'Levitra' as a keyword, we ask that you please resolve that matter with the trademark owner. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Stop counting on PPC ads for selling your products. Work on SEO and OTHER methods to get your site in front of buyers.
If you rely soley on Google or Overture to make you money, you will never make your maximum potential!

An old LLC I was invloved was sued by Pfizer for using Celebrex domains. We simply gave up the domains and that was it No huge hassle.
By the way is everyone seeing the FDA covering the engines with the "drug info" pages:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8& (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&c2coff=1&q=+site%3Awww.fda.gov+druginfo&btnG=Sea rch) oe=UTF-8&c2coff=1&q=+site%3Awww.fda.gov+druginfo& ;btnG=Search
They seem to now rank in the top ten for all keywords that they have targeted.

Actually it was Pharmacia. I got into one of those ICANN disputes too about "celebrex". They spent the $1500 on registering the dispute and I strung it out as long as I could to get the most sales out of it. Fugum.

I will wait for the fda.gov domain to expire and get it as fast as possible smileys/smiley10.gif
it is the best SEO technique I can think of ...
